How Much Gold Is Allowed from Dubai to India?

Category 1: Indian citizens and persons of Indian origin who have been residing abroad coming back to India after more than 1 year are allowed to bring in gold jewelry free of duty as follows:

Custom Duty on Gold from Dubai to India

If you bring gold from Dubai to India more than the duty-free limit, you’ll have to pay customs duty. Additionally, please keep the invoice with you as the passengers have to show the gold purchase invoices with the price, purity and date at Indian customs for verification.
