What is BO ID in Zerodha?

The BO ID (Beneficiary Owner Identification Number) in Zerodha is a Demat account number of the customer. It is an 8-digit number to identify a unique Demat account number provided by CDSL (the depository) at the time of account opening. 

Every individual who opens an account with Zerodha gets their unique BO ID which consists of 16 digits.

Step 1. Login to the Zerodha Kite Website or Mobile App by clicking here https://kite.zerodha.com/ with user ID and password. 

Step 2. After login, click on the top right corner of the screen where you will see your profile ID. Click on that, your profile page will open. 

Step 3. Here, you will see the Demat (BO) section and you will find your 16-digit BO ID. It consists of your DP ID and your customer ID. The first 8 digits of that number are your DP ID and the next 8 digits are BO ID. The DP ID is the same for all the Zerodha users, whereas the BO ID is different for everyone.

Step 1: Log in to the Upstox app using your 6-digit PIN or Biometrics.

Step 2: Click on ‘Account’ at the bottom of the screen, and then click on ‘My Account’.
